The Carbon Calculator for Climate-friendly Recreational Activities has been developed to estimate the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with reoccurring activities such as attending sport team practices (e.g. hockey, soccer, etc) or one-time events (e.g. an out-of-town hockey tournament, graduating year school trips, etc). The Calculator can produce a meaningful estimate of the GHG emissions resulting from travel and building energy usage.
